Clauchan Holiday Cottages is only 4 miles from the superb GG’s Yard wedding venue. There are many exciting and beautiful cycle paths straight from your door, or try the world famous 7Stanes cycling challenge.

There is something for everyone in this beautiful unspoilt corner of Scotland. The cottage is only a few minutes drive from the charming town of Gatehouse of Fleet which offers a wide range of places to eat and relax. There are many attractions in and around the town including the Mill on the Fleet Visitor Centre and Cardoness Castle.

The owner Iain is extremely helpful and welcoming and made sure we had a very comfortable stay . "Had a lovely week in the barn. peaceful, relaxing setting, amazing hot tub. Accommodation was very well equipped and quickly felt at home. Wifi was good, and decent smart TV with netflix subscription which was handy on the odd wet afternoon. Was lovely having the goats and pigs nearby, and we had lots of baby birds learning to fly around the barn. Iain and Jackie were great hosts and on hand if needed. We will definitely be back, just home and missing the place already!"
