Clauchan Cottages are all built in the natural stone of the area. They have been converted out of the old part of the farm steading to form five properties sleeping from one to six people. The properties were originally converted from the old farm steading in 1997 and fully refurbished in 2018.
The Barn

Situated on a working farm, The Barn has been converted from the original farm steading. Originally converted in 1997 and fully refurbished in 2018, The Barn is nestled in the Girthon Valley, surrounded by some of the best scenery in Galloway, with great walks, both woodland and coastal.
The Middle Byre

Middle Byre originally housed the cattle on the farm and has been delightfully converted into a comfortable and spacious holiday property, perfect for families. The property is all on one level and sleeps six people. Middle Byre is disabled friendly and also has a six seat hot tub for you to enjoy.
The Stable

The Stables are old stables which were for the working Clydesdale horses on the farm. The Stable is suitable for two adults and two children, or couples, and is the perfect base for your Galloway adventure.

The Dairy Bothy

Dairy Bothy is a lovely one bedroom cottage which was cleverly converted from part of the farmhouse which would have originally been the staff accommodation. This cosy cottage has superb views from the patio, sun house and from the doorstep.
Shellhill Cottage

Shellhill Cottage is a charming bungalow, located in the Girthon Valley just 2.5 miles from the beautiful village of Gatehouse of Fleet. With stunning views of the Galloway Hills this detached house is the perfect place to relax and unwind and is ideal for a family holiday. Shellhill Cottage is also suitable for those with mobility issues and has a walk in shower room equipped with safety rails and a shower chair.
